8-port D-Link DES-1008PA switch with 4-port PoE allows home and office users to easily connect and power PoE (Power over Ethernet) devices such as access points. wires, IP cameras and IP phones. This switch also allows the addition of other Ethernet devices such as computers, printers, and NAS (Network Attached Storage) to the network. Designed for home and small office users, this PoE integrated switch works very smoothly, suitable for use anywhere in the home or office.

DES-1008PA is equipped with 4 10 / 100Mbps ports supporting the IEEE 802.3af PoE power supply protocol. Each PoE port can provide up to 15.4W with a total PoE power of up to 58W, allowing users to attach IEEE 802.3af compliant devices to DES-1008PA without the need for an additional power source. The PoE power supply protocol is especially suitable for devices away from electrical outlets or when trying to minimize the clutter from extra cables. If a device is not PoE compatible, the D-Link DWL-P50 PoE converter can turn any regular Ethernet port into a PoE Ethernet port.

DES-1008PA can be installed quickly, easily and without configuration. This switch supports Auto MDI / MDIX CrossOver auto-switch function on all ports, eliminating crossover cables when connecting to another switch. Auto-Negotiation mode on each port measures the link speed of a network device (in accordance with 10 or 100 standards) and intelligently adjusts automatically, providing high compatibility and optimal performance. The switch is designed without fans, so it can work smoothly anywhere.
